I hadn't spent much time in the city lately, and I felt like I needed to reconnect with Stockholm, the way you'd check in on an old friend you'd been neglecting. So Benji and I set out for a long walk, island-hopping through the archipelago that runs straight through the city center.
By the time we reached Kastellholmen, the evening had turned golden, Gröna Lund's rides were lit up across the water, and a gull cut through the frame at exactly the right moment.
Sometimes reconnecting with a place is as simple as walking until it looks back at you the way you remember it.
