It took me far too long to visit Malmö. It was only about ten years after moving to Sweden that I finally visited its third largest city.Once I did however, I fell instantly in love, and while the Turning Torso was nowhere near the top of the list of my favourite things about Malmö, it is undeniably iconic, which compelled me to photograph it in a way that reflected its unique status among buildings in both Malmö and Sweden.
