I was out on one of my evening walks with Benji when I noticed the sky starting to catch color, the kind of pink-and-purple mix that never sticks around for long. I knew I had only a few minutes before the moment passed.
I'd already worked out this composition of the water tower on an earlier walk, half-hoping for an evening exactly like this one to come along. So I ran, Benji keeping pace while mildly confused about the sudden urgency, and got there just as the sky was hitting its most dramatic.
Some shots take patience. This one took sprinting.
