This one is a companion to the water tower shot from the same evening. After catching the tower, I ran straight across town to Sundbyberg Church, hoping the sky would hold its color a little longer. It did.
I'd scouted this composition in advance too on an earlier walk, waiting for a sky worth the run for. Between the warm light glowing through the stained glass window and that same pink-and-purple sky I'd just photographed at the tower, for a few minutes it felt like the whole town was lit up for the occasion.
