The human form in monochrome
This collection is an exploration of the self, using the human body as a medium to tell a different kind of story. While my other work looks outward at the landscapes of the North, these black-and-white images look inward. I view these studies as a 'quiet revolt', a way to strip away the expectations, labels, and noise of modern life to focus on what is essential and honest.
By using high-contrast monochrome, I aim to transform the body into a landscape of its own. These pieces are designed for spaces where you seek reflection and quiet. They are more than just decorative; they are reminders of the autonomy and beauty we all carry within ourselves. Printed on archival museum-grade paper, each work maintains the deep, velvety blacks and soft highlights necessary to capture the intensity and intimacy of these moments. They serve as a sophisticated, soulful addition to any personal collection.
